At our state-of-the-art center in Queens, NY, we safely perform endoscopy to reveal conditions such as gastrointestinal diseases that require further treatment. Procedure and Follow-Up Prior to your endoscopy, we will provide you with at home instructions to follow. You will need to have an empty stomach before the procedure and will not be able to eat or drink for six or more hours depending on the specific instructions you have been given. If you take medications or vitamin supplements, you may be asked to take these after the procedure.
